Buffy (Retrospective)

This is what I thought to start with....

Buffy

Buffy has moved, and oddly this is noticeable.  I think.  There is a different feel to this season - probably something to do with the differences in production systems and standards.  Alternatively it could be because I've been watching on NTSC (Never the Same Color) on a US network instead of the good old BBC.

The story lines so far have been a little weak, no sign of the story arc nor any major developments.  This isn't necessarily a problem as the start of season 5 was pretty lame until they got into the Glory story properly.  Obviously I will give it some time, but it already occurs to me, without having really been a geek and reading spoilers all over the place, that they have to do something with Willow.  The character is getting inordinately powerful - if this carries on she'll be well on way to being something potentially dangerous.  I'm thinking Luke and the Emperor style here.

May be Josh Whedon has this in mind already.  Who knows...

On a weird note, there was a documentary on the TV in the US about Buffy where they had interviews with most of the cast.  Willow, it seems, is going out with Wesley from Angel.  Many will be upset to hear this...
